Export / import: current trends and strategies on the performing arts market

At any platform or showcase, the questions of export/import are inevitably a main focus and concern. In this panel we would like to take a look at current strategies and trends of export and import on the performing arts market, by giving word to 5 professionals whose work is concentrated not only on international touring, but also on the international co-production of artists.

With this discussion, we can gain more insight into the present situation on the performing arts market, as well as the individual practices and strategies of invited panelists.

What artists and what kind of work is especially in demand? Is it possible to observe any tendencies? What artistic/aesthetic factors and criteria do you consider in your programming, production or management policies? What can be done to develop "export potential"? How can artists be supported in meeting the challenges of a competitive international context?

We hope to engage both international and local guests in an exciting dialogue where we will have a chance to share our views and experiences.
